The Chairman of the administrative board of the Chamber Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al ataishan, the patronage of His Highness the Prince of the region for this event will give it additional impetus, and confirms beyond any doubt the care of the country for the activities and projects of the private sector across the country .. stressing that this care will be a motivation for us towards more forums and seminars that deal with issues of public and economic projects, which will be reflected on the economic situation in general.
He explained that the Forum will witness the participation of a number of speakers from government officials, experts and specialists, as well as businessmen and investors, for what the forum topics and themes of interest and vitality represents to them, pointing that investment in the province of Qatif in the Eastern Province is characterized by several features, and faces some obstacles, and involves an investment promising prospects, that could result in a number of an extra value projects in many commercial, tourist and industrial and agricultural sectors and services .. pointing that maintaining an attractive and motivating environment for the establishment of small and medium enterprises in various fields, assisted by the geographical nearness of the industrial zones in each of Jubail and Dammam, Ras Tanura which gives it an added advantage in this regard, and opens a space to highly profitable economic activities that supports the needs of the region and the preservation of goods and services, and provides job opportunities for young Saudis.
Accordingly, the Forum as chairman of the East Chamber would address the two axes of the discussion, the first axis (the advantages and challenges of investing in Qatif), where the participants in the Forum try within this axis tracking all of the obstacles and challenges facing investment in the province, and the attempt to put suggestions and solutions to overcome them, so as to ensure a diversified investment movement in the province, in various available fields , as well as seeking to publicize the expected results and the existing motivations which promotes other investments in the province.
